Dolly style

I think I`m falling in love all over again! I started to look up pictures of this style, called "Dolly kei (style)", It`s basically, from what I know, a fashion where you look antique, old world style. I like it a lot, and it has less rules than lolita and more room to customize! You can wear whatever length of skirt you like! Lolita is knee-length only most of the time. Here are some pictures. Crafts! Antique pillow case into a bag

Hello dear readers! Today I went out shopping after school to a place walking distance to my house. It`s called "Lillian's fine collectables". I went there to see if I could find something and just to check it out in general.

Well, I found many interesting things, but I couldn`t spend much as I wanted to save some money for an upcoming event to Casa Loma with some of my friends. But ! I did find this little interesting item!

What is it? An old pillowcase! I know what you`re thinking, why? But, I saw it`s potential to be turned into a bag :3 Even if it zipped up on the side, and not the top. It was only 3 dollars! (The store owner was so nice!)

Here`s a close up on the embroidery, it`s really cute!

So, now to turn this pillowcase into a bag! I had some dollar store lace lying around, so I used that for the straps

And then sewed them on! It`s actually very strong :3 I can carry all my valuables in it!

There! Now I have my own unique vintage bag! And it only cost 4 dollars! 3 for the case, and 1 for the lace :3
